”Achievements and Challenges of the Ministry of Corrections of Georgia”

On the 17 of May, 2018 IBSU Law Faculty organized an event – “Achievements and Challenges of the Ministry of Corrections of Georgia”, which was delivered by the head of the legal department of the institution – Alexander Darakhvelidze.

In the frame of the interactive lecture, the guest discussed the mission and function of the ministry, reforms and sub-institutions. Mr. Darakhvelidze shared the current precedents going on in the system.

Ministry of Corrections keeps on implementing new projects to meet the objectives and throughout this process, it pays significant attention to co-operation with educational institutions. Because of this, the parties planned to implement various projects, which the students will take part in.
