Industrial Management & Technology

SCHOOL OF BUSINESS

“Engineering isn’t about perfect solutions; it’s about doing the best you can with limited resources.” –  Randy PauschThe Last Lecture

The Industrial Engineering Program provides students with a wide range of knowledge in various fields. The main task of industrial engineers is to find the best way to work, analyze and improve complex systems (automobile, computer, transport, etc.) with the help of systemic approach. System vision, man-orienting and ability to solve problems are distinctive characteristics from industrial engineering special and other engineering professions.

After successful completion of the program the graduates should be able to analyze the problems created in the process of production and develop appropriate methods for them to be solved. The program gives students a modern manufacturing methods and means of knowledge through the following disciplines: mathematical statistics, operations research, production planning, systems simulation, economic analysis and forecasting methods, information technology, quality control, statistical methods, design Automated Izirebuli systems and their application in industry, etc.
