External Mobility to IBSU

To the attention for those who would like to be enrolled at International Black Sea University!

– Date for the payment and registration for the mobility enrollment on the electronic portal of the EMIS (Electronic Management Information System ) (https://students.eqe.ge) is: January 22, 2020 till February 5 until 18:00 o’clock.

– Applicants who has acquired the right of enrolment via mobility to IBSU should be presented at the University (Quality Assurance office) from January 27, 2020 till February 14 until 18:00 o’clock

List of the required documents:

1 – Application

2 – A copy of the document(s) regulating the student status (e.g. act of enrollment/restoration/suspension/termination);

3 – Transcript (defining course credits and assessments), approved by official signature and seal of university;

4 – A copy of ID Card;

5 – State certificate of secondary education and/or a copy of document proving completion of prior level of education;

6 – Two photos (3X4), (printed and on CD/DVD);

7 – For male students: a copy of military certificate.

The student fills out another application stating that he/she agrees to the result of the course mapping process (recognized credits) and that he/she would like apply to IBSU.

Note: If the General School Certificate/Diploma is issued by a foreign School/College/HEI, the letter of recognition and the notarized translation from LELP-National Center for Education Quality Enhancement is required.

Student of the educational program with the instruction language – Georgian, applying for the mobility to the educational program with the instruction language – English, has to prove his/her knowledge of English language.

Required language level is as follows:

1 – Students who are enrolled on Bachelor level in the 1st semester should have passed English language exam in United National Examinations with minimum score that is defined for relevant educational program of the corresponding academic year.

2 – Students who are enrolled on Bachelor level – 2nd semester, have to prove the knowledge of English level on B1;

3 – Students who are enrolled on Bachelor level – 3-5th semester, have to prove the knowledge of English level on B2;

4 – Students who are enrolled on Master’s level have to prove the knowledge of English level on B2;

5 – Students who are enrolled on Doctoral level, have to prove the knowledge of English level on B2/C1 depending on the program admission requirements.

For these purposes, he/she has to submit an English language international certificate, pass English language exam organized by IBSU or he/she should have covered study components on English language, which learning outcome is B1/B2/C1 relevantly. Those candidates who have graduated from an previous level educational program within the last three years  in which the instruction language is language of the master/doctoral program and their GPA is at least 75 (out of 100) or 3 (out of 4), will be exempt from the foreign language requirement.
