On May 16, 2016 Dr. Susan Shillinglaw, professor at San Jose State University in California, researcher of John Steinbeck’s works & director of John Steinbeck’s Center, invited by the U.S. Embassy, met with American Studies program students,

 professors and the Dean of the Faculty of Education and Humanities Prof. Dr. Tamar Shioshvili at the International Black Sea University. The guest speaker delivered an interactive lecture: ’’A journey in Steinbeck’s California and Steinbeck in Georgia“, where the audience was actively involved.
