standards and evidences, which will be in line with the trends of developments in medicine, the progress of medical technologies and global challenges;<\/li>\n<li>Applying the principle of result-oriented education and modern teaching methods, transforming theoretical knowledge into practical skills, forming clinical, analytical and communication skills \u2013 in order to ensure competitiveness in the local and international labor markets;<\/li>\n<li>Development of patient-oriented ethical values and attitudes, respect for the rights and interests of the patient, regardless of his\/her social, cultural, religious and ethnic affiliation;<\/li>\n<li>Developing the ability to plan, implement and analyze scientific research activities. Internalizing the principles of professional ethics of biomedical research and scientific discussions;<\/li>\n<li>Forming the habit of independent active self-learning, need for continuous professional skills, development of motivation to constantly strive for increasing professionalism, personal and collective responsibility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Structure of the Program<\/h4>\n<p>The training program consists of:<\/p>\n<p>Compulsory courses \u2013 350 (ECTS), including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Integrated Courses \u2013 86 (ECTS)<\/li>\n<li>Basic\/pre-clinical courses \u2013 144 (ECTS), including integrated<\/li>\n<li>Clinical courses \u2013 206 (ECTS), including integrated<\/li>\n<li>Clinical rotations -13 (ECTS)<\/li>\n<li>Clinical skills- 15 (ECTS)<\/li>\n<li>Development of scientific skills \u2013 10 (ECTS)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Elective courses \u2013 10 (ECTS)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Learning Outcomes<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>O1(K&amp;U). Deep and systemic knowledge and understanding of basic\/biomedical and clinical sciences.<\/li>\n<li>O2(S1). Carrying out patient consultation.<\/li>\n<li>O3(S2). Assessment of clinical case, appointment of examinations, differential diagnosis, discussion of disease management plan.<\/li>\n<li>O4(S3). Providing assistance during emergency medical situations (first aid and resuscitation measures)<\/li>\n<li>O5(S4). Prescribing medicines<\/li>\n<li>O6(S5). Carrying out practical procedures<\/li>\n<li>O7(S6). Effective communication in a medical context<\/li>\n<li>O8 (S7). Application of ethical and legal principles in medical practice<\/li>\n<li>O9 (S8). Assessment of psychological and social aspects related to the patient\u2019s disease<\/li>\n<li>O10(S9). Application of evidence-based principles, skills and knowledge<\/li>\n<li>O11(S10). Effective use of information and information technology in a medical context<\/li>\n<li>O12(S11). Application of scientific principles, methods and knowledge of biomedicine in medical practice and research<\/li>\n<li>O13(S12). Implementation of health promotion measures, involvement in public health issues, effective work in the health care system<\/li>\n<li>O14(R&amp;A). Professionalism \/ Values<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Programme Admission Preconditions:<\/h4>\n<p>\u2013 a relevant document (certificate) confirming complete general education (confirmed by the state) or a document equivalent to it;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 a document confirming the passing of the unified national exams in accordance with the rules approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Overcoming the minimum competence at the unified national exams, except for the English language exam. The minimum level of competence in English is 50%.<\/p>\n<p>-Knowledge of the English language at B2 level \u2013 presentation of a certificate confirming general European language skills at B2 level (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge English, UNIcert\u00ae, EnglishScore, etc.). In the absence of such, the university checks the level of knowledge of the English language according to the regulations developed by it and the requirements of the applicable national sectoral characteristics of pre-diploma medical education).<\/p>\n<p>In the cases provided for by the legislation, enrollment is possible in accordance with the rules established by the legislation, without passing the unified national exams. Conditions for admission to the program for citizens of foreign countries and stateless persons without passing the unified national exams are the following:<\/p>\n<p>a) for citizens of foreign countries and stateless persons who received full general education or its equivalent in a foreign country, or for citizens of foreign countries and stateless persons (except those who are simultaneously citizens of Georgia) who received full general education or its equivalent in Georgia through foreign or international programs recognized by Georgia;<\/p>\n<p>b) for Georgian citizens who received full general education or its equivalent in a foreign country and completed the last two years of full general education in a foreign country;<\/p>\n<p>c)\u00a0 for citizens of foreign countries (except for students participating in a joint higher education program and students participating in an exchange education program), who study\/studied and received credits\/qualifications in a foreign country in a higher education institution recognized in accordance with the legislation of this country;<\/p>\n<p>d)\u00a0 for Georgian citizens (except students participating in a joint higher education program and students participating in an exchange education program) who live\/lived, study\/studied, and received credits\/qualification in a foreign country at a higher education institution recognized under Georgian law for at least 75 days during one of the semesters in an educational institution.<\/p>\n<p>Also, the following are prerequisites for admission of an applicant to a certified doctor\u2019s educational program without the unified national exams in the manner established by legislation and within the established deadlines:<\/p>\n<p>Knowledge of English language at B2 level \u2013 providing a certificate (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge English, UNIcert\u00ae, EnglishScore, etc.) confirming general European language skills at B2 level. In the absence of such, the university checks the level of knowledge of the English language through a language proficiency test, which includes: listening, comprehension and analysis of the read text, speaking and corresponds to the requirements of the current national pre-diploma medical education.<\/p>\n<p>Or for entrants who are citizens of a foreign country with an English-language education, upon presenting a relevant document (e.g. school diploma, certificate, etc.).<\/p>\n<p>It is possible to enroll in the program on a mobility basis in accordance with the law.<\/p>\n<p>In order to provide information about the programs operating in the university, International Black Sea University systematically holds meetings with applicants from all over the country and with international applicants as needed. During the meetings, entrants are provided with detailed information about the school\u2019s programs (in addition to oral communication, relevant information brochures are also distributed to them).<\/p>\n<p>The program and the prerequisites for enrolling in the program are posted on the university\u2019s website and are available to all interested persons.
