el_class=&#8221;schools-content&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4>US Foreign Affairs (English-taught)<\/h4>\n<h4>Program Description<\/h4>\n<p>The only English U.S. foreign affairs master program is the continuation of the Bachelor American Studies multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary program opened first time in Georgia at the International Black Sea University (IBSU) in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy. The uniqueness of interdisciplinary and the multidisciplinary American Studies BA program involving a wide scope of humanitarian disciplines and the students\u2019 great interest in American History and Politics encouraged us to create the master\u2019s program in U.S. Foreign Affairs, that will deepen the knowledge of courses: American History, Politics, American Culture, and Society and provide a more fundamental study of the U.S. domestic and foreign policy issues, linked to unique immigration historic past.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Program Advantages<\/h4>\n<p>Our conceptual framework will allow students to utilize relevant theories effectively and our placement of contemporary debates in their historical context.<br \/>\nThe mission of the program is to enable students both to see and to assess the forces underlying continuity and change in American foreign policy. Courses included in the program will provide conceptual, theoretical, and historical components appropriate for students to do theoretical research in American Foreign Affairs.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Student Exchange<\/h4>\n<p>According to Agreements with IBSU partner universities \u00a0students have \u00a0an opportunity to participate in various international \u00a0exchange programs.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Career Opportunities<\/h4>\n<p>Involvement in the diplomatic activity at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or at the International Relations or other appropriate Departments at the different Ministries and Municipal bodies, scientific researches, administrative personnel in the field of International relations. Embassies, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (American Department), offices of Public Relations, departments of culture, government, Parliament, Museums of History, Archives, committees of foreign relations, universities, NGOs.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Admission to the Program<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Requirements for Georgian MA applicants:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent academic degree;<\/li>\n<li>Successful completion of the unified master\u2019s examination;<\/li>\n<li>Examination (interview) in the language of the program instruction;<\/li>\n<li>B2 level intra-university test in a foreign language if it is not supported by a BA diploma\/certificate;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Please note!<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An applicant is exempt from the foreign language examination if he\/she completed an English-taught program\/an international certificate confirming the B2 level or language knowledge;<\/li>\n<li>In case of equal scores in the interview, under competition conditions, the master\u2019s candidate\u2019s GPA will be taken into consideration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required documents:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a notarized)<\/li>\n<li>Applicants with higher education overseas should present notarized translations of the diploma and appendix, as well as documentation confirming their international education<\/li>\n<li>Copy of identification card\/passport (for citizens of foreign countries \u2013 notarized translation)<\/li>\n<li>An international certificate confirming the level of proficiency in a foreign language\/a document confirming the academic degree obtained as a result of the completion of a foreign language program \u2013 diploma and appendix (if any)<\/li>\n<li>A military
