Since 2021 she is Head of the Master Program \u201cDigital Media & Communication\u201d, after having participated programs in Chicago, funded by the United States government in the States \u201cMedia Education Program\u201d (DePaul and Loyola Universities). She prepared this IBSU master program based on the US experience, similar to the Digital Media MA program at Loyola University.<\/p>\n

    Topic of Dali Osepashvilis\u2019 PhD thesis (2004) was genre transformation of news, interviews and reportages in Georgian print media. 1993-2005 she intensively worked at difference Georgian newspapers and magazines.<\/p>\n

    Before the International Black Sea University, she worked for the 18 years as a professor at the Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, where headed MA program \u201eMedia & New Technologies\u201c (2008-2018) and \u00a0Till 2015 she was head of quality assurance service at the faculty of social and political sciences.<\/p>\n

    She has published approximately 60 research papers, 2 books and is co-author 2 handbooks. Some her research papers are indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. Dali Osepashvili has participated in the international conferences \u2013 Harvard, Detroit, Oxford, Brussels, Berlin, Bremen, Munich, Warsaw, Paris, Prague etc.<\/p>\n

    She completed a research internship in the USA – at the University of Michigan (Weiser Program, 2017); in the Germany (DAAD, at Ludwig Maximiliane University, 2015; at the Eichstadt-Ingolstadt University, 2024); in the Lietuva (Marie Curie\u00a0 IRSES program, University of Vilnius, 2016); in the Poland (Tytus Filipowicz research stipend \u2013 at the University of Wroclaw and at the New Easter Europe College, 2021; Mieroszewski research foundation stipend \u2013 Warsaw and Krakow, 2024).<\/p>\n

    In the frameworks Of teaching mobility, she conducted lectures in Finland (\u2018Basercan+\u2019 program for the academic staff, University of Helsinki, 2015) and \u2018Erasmus+\u2019 short term teaching program for academic staff in Poland (at the University of Wroclaw, 2016; 2021) and in Chekh Republic (at the University of Masaryk, 2017).<\/p>\n

    Her research interests included: digital transformation of media; AI and media; journalism studies; transformation of news in the digital era; social media; magazine studies; digital communication etc.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tab][vc_tab title=”Publications” tab_id=”1730702471047-2-3″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
