Currently serving as an Affiliated Professor at the International Black Sea University’s School of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences in Tbilisi, Georgia, she holds multiple leadership positions including Editor-in-chief of the Journal of Education in Black Sea Region (JEBS) and Head of English Philology BA programme and Teacher Training Educational Program.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Dr. Chkotua earned her PhD in Education Sciences from Telavi Iakob Gogebashvili State University and has dedicated her career to advancing education and language teaching methodologies. She is particularly focused on English language education, having published numerous research papers on topics ranging from mobile-assisted language learning to cultural aspects of EFL teaching.<\/span><\/p>\n

    As a seasoned researcher and academic supervisor, she has successfully guided multiple PhD and MA students through their thesis work, with research topics spanning from data-driven learning to drama-based professional development in education. Her research contributions have been presented at numerous international conferences, particularly in educational technology, language teaching methodology, and cultural aspects of language learning.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Dr. Chkotua maintains active involvement in international academic collaboration, currently coordinating ERASMUS+ International Credit Mobility projects with European universities. She is also a member of the field board in Higher Education at the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement in Georgia, contributing to developing teacher training educational programmes.
