The participants of the conference were: Georgian and American professors, doctorates, B.A., M.A. program (U.S. Foreign Affairs) and Ph.D. students of the American Studies Department of the Faculty of Education and Humanities; professors of the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University; professors of the Akaki Tsereteli Kutaisi State University. Cultural Attach\u00e9 of the United States Embassy in Georgia James Dewey, Rector of International Black Sea University \u015eevket Ercan Tun\u00e7, and Professor of Economics David Aptsiauri delivered speeches at the opening of the conference.<\/p>\n<p>The participants read papers in the following workshops:<\/p>\n<p>1. Education and Social Issues;<\/p>\n<p>2. Literature and Women\u2019s Issues;<\/p>\n<p>3.
