Head of the “Digital Media and Communication” MA program Prof. Dr. Dali Osepashvili participated at The World Media Management and Media Economics Conference (WMEMC2025), <\/span>which was held in University of Warsaw, Poland 20-24 May 2025. This important conference is held every 2 years, bringing together interesting presentations where media industry news is discussed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dali Osepashvili presented the results of her research titled ” Change in News Access Among Young Social Media Users (Case of Georgia)” at a panel on Media and Z Generation, which focused on the use of Instagram and TikTok.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The topic is relevant and new, as young people, as digital natives in Georgia and worldwide, consume information not through TV but through social media. As a result of this qualitative research, Dali Osepashvili presented recommendations on what strategies traditional media should apply if they want the information disseminated by their channels to reach the youth segment.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t
