IBSU undergraduate students of the School of Law and State Governance attended a meeting to discuss bachelor’s thesis completion and formatting requirements. The session was led by Vice-Rector for Research and Affiliated Associate Professor Tea Kbiltsetskhlashvili, alongside School Dean and Affiliated Professor Irakli Shamatava.<\/p>\n

The meeting covered the methodology for preparing bachelor’s theses, common errors found in submissions, and standards for academic formatting, research ethics, citation and paraphrasing. Each bachelor’s thesis was uploaded to the anti-plagiarism software TURNITIN, with reports sent individually to students to ensure similarity coefficients meet requirements before the official defence.<\/p>\n

Such meetings are held regularly at the School of Law and State Governance, aimed at developing students’ effective academic communication skills, including academic writing, information research, analysis and presentation abilities. Participants gained valuable knowledge and experience in managing the research and writing process effectively, which will better support them in achieving their academic goals.<\/p>\n
