Black Sea International University hosted a charity event dedicated to raising breast cancer awareness – Pink Link, organized by the student association The Med Linkers in collaboration with Angels of Hope (Pink Space).<\/p>\n

The event actively involved IBSU\u2019s School of Medicine students, who participated in both the organizational and charitable aspects of the initiative.<\/p>\n

The program included a variety of educational and interactive activities:
\n– Presentations on mastectomy and post-surgery skin reconstruction;
\n– A powerful story shared by a breast cancer survivor, who now inspires and empowers others;
\n– A scientific presentation on the \u201csleeping cells\u201d of breast cancer;
\n– Engaging activities such as games organized by five partner organizations, film screenings, and a Pink Ribbon Hunt across the campus.<\/p>\n

All charitable funds raised during the event were donated by students to the Angels of Hope (Pink Space) foundation.<\/p>\n

October is internationally recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, also known as Pink October. The pink ribbon has become a universal symbol of the campaign, which aims to promote awareness about the early detection of breast cancer symptoms, encourage regular self-examinations, and highlight the importance of screening.<\/p>\n
