{"id":7613,"date":"2017-11-22T16:07:00","date_gmt":"2017-11-22T12:07:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ss.ibsu.edu.ge\/ibsu\/?post_type=se&#038;p=3613"},"modified":"2025-01-21T16:35:58","modified_gmt":"2025-01-21T12:35:58","slug":"national-narratives-and-memory-formation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ibsu.edu.ge\/en\/national-narratives-and-memory-formation\/","title":{"rendered":"National Narratives and Memory Formation Process in Former Communist Bloc Countries"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">MA program in International Relations and Politics at the International Black Sea University in cooperation with the MA program in Nationalism and Ethnicity Studies at Tbilisi State University launching an educational research project on\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cNational Narratives and Memory Formation Process in Former Communist Bloc Countries\u201d.<\/strong><\/em> The project aims at analyzing how memories of the past were mobilized with the view to (re)create a sense of national belonging among the societies of Former Communist Bloc countries. Hence, the goal of the project is to improve young researchers\u2019 expertise on the issue in order to further apply this knowledge while writing publications and working on MA and PhD thesis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">\u10e4\u10d3\u10f0\u10ee\u10d2\u10e4\u10f0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The project comprises three parts:\u00a0<u>Lecture\u00a0series<\/u>\u00a0delivered by prominent Georgian and foreign experts in the field, covering various issues on memory politics.
