IBSU hosted Professor Dr. Heiko Jonny Maniero

The Dean of the IBSU School of Law and State Governance along with the Head of the International Relations Department, Nini Chalabashvili, and the Dean of the School of Computer Science and Architecture, Mariam Razmadze, met with Professor Dr. Heiko Jonny Maniero. He is a distinguished member of both the American Bar Association and the International Bar Association, as well as a certified personal data protection officer in Germany.

During the meeting, the participants discussed potential areas of collaboration, including organizing public lectures and seminars for IBSU students on topics such as personal data protection, mediation law, and intellectual property law.

The parties also outlined a framework for future cooperation, which includes plans to sign memorandums of understanding and implement student support programs between the two countries.

Dean Irakli Shamatava presented the school’s long-term strategic development plan, highlighting initiatives such as establishing new partnerships through memorandums, developing exchange programs, and enhancing the “Journal of Modern Law.”

The meeting concluded with IBSU extending an invitation to Professor Maniero to join the editorial board of the Modern Law Journal.
