U.S. Embassy Education and Professional Programs Coordinator Meets with Students

Organized by Lizi Khmaladze, Elene Jincharadze, Mariam Metreveli, and Ana Andriashvili, students of the School of Law and Public Administration of the International Black Sea University, a public lecture was held on the topic of “International Exchange Programs, Contests, and Funding,” which was led by Tea Kuchukhidze, Coordinator of Education and Professional Programs at the Embassy of the United States of America.

The meeting was moderated by Irakli Shamatava, Dean of the School of Law and Public Administration of the International Black Sea University, Affiliated Professor, who spoke about the future prospects of the school and student support activities.

The public lecture touched on student involvement in international exchange programs, as well as the deadlines for announcing contests and funding conditions.

The Coordinator of Education and Professional Programs spoke about the Benjamin Franklin Transatlantic Fellowship (BFTF), as well as the largest exchange program funded by the US government: the Fulbright Graduate Student Program; Fulbright Teaching Excellence And Achievement (TEA) Program; Fulbright Visiting Scholars Program and other international exchange programs.

The event was attended by Nika Natenadze, Head of Career Planning and Development Service.
