Inclusive Education in a Multicultural Environment: Educational Session at IBSU

An informational and educational session titled “Challenges in England’s Inclusive Education in Multicultural Contexts, Future Challenges for Georgia’s Education, and Transferable Practices from England” was held at the International Black Sea University.

During the event, invited speakers Zhanna Goginashvili and Marina Ostrianska introduced participants to the key challenges of England’s multicultural education system, including language barriers, cultural differences, and inclusive teaching practices.

Special attention was given to experiences and approaches that may be particularly relevant for Georgia’s education system. The discussion focused on whole-school inclusive approaches, continuous professional development for teachers, community engagement, and the importance of data-driven monitoring.
