School of Computer Science and Architecture representatives visited Varna Free University

Representatives from the International Black Sea University’s School of Computer Science and Architecture – Associate Professors Giorgi Gabunia and Giorgi Tsutskiridze, head of the Architecture programme – have successfully presented a paper at the international academic conference ArCive 2025, held at Varna Free University in Bulgaria. Their presentation, titled “Architectural Intervention in Historic Urban Context: Case Study of ‘Stair-Street-House’ in Sololaki, Tbilisi”, examined the preservation of cultural heritage and the potential for integrating innovative architectural solutions within the historic urban fabric of cities.

The paper will be published in the coming months in an international publication, specifically in the academic journal of Varna Free University. The School of Computer Science and Architecture plans to continue discussions around this topic and organise a conference in Tbilisi with the participation of industry experts, aimed at advancing knowledge and professional dialogue in this field.
