StudFest2025 has drawn to a close
The sports component of StudFest2025 has drawn to a close, with students from the International Black Sea University (IBSU) among the participants competing across a comprehensive range of disciplines.
The tournament programme featured an extensive variety of sporting activities, including water sports such as rafting and swimming, traditional team games like volleyball and futsal, and individual competitions spanning from chess to rock climbing. Students also competed in Georgian wrestling, judo, tennis, badminton, table tennis, and sprint events.
Additional competitions included bowling, street football, mini-football, stand-up shooting, arm wrestling, paintball, billiards, checkers, backgammon, karting, and 3X3 basketball tournaments.
IBSU’s team achieved notable success in the strategic board game competitions, securing second place in both the checkers and backgammon tournaments. The festival now progresses to its next phase, which will focus on educational and cultural programming rather than sporting activities.
