12th Annual American Studies International Research Conference

On December 2, 2019 on the initiative of the only English American studies program established in cooperation with the US Embassy at the International Black Sea University the 12th Annual American Studies International Research Conference was held. The Conference was opened by the Charge D’Affairs of the US Embassy Elizabeth H. rood. Among the guests were Cultural attaché of the US Embassy Julius Tsai and the representatives of the Public Affairs Deparment. The opening part was concluded by the concert performed by the Tbilisi Big Band, as American Jazz is the part of the American Studies curriculum. In four sections of the conference diverse multidisciplinary topics were presented by three American and Georgian researchers of not only the International Black Sea University, but Tbilisi State, Batumi, Telavi, Kutaisi Universities.
