The Faculty of Business and Technology is one of the largest and most demanding faculties of the International Black Sea University not only locally, but internationally. Our graduates have all the necessary skills and relevant education that enhances their competitiveness in the job market.
The faculty offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs of modern standards in Georgian and English languages and is staffed by highly qualified local and foreign professors and practicing specialists. The faculty offers the most demanding specialties in the labor market. The purpose of the faculty is to train student-centered, competitive specialists who will be able to participate in various sectors of business that meet state-of-the-art standards at the local and international level, providing employment opportunities in the public, private, and non-governmental sectors; Educational programs provide students with a deep knowledge of practical and fundamental theoretical and practical issues in business and technology; Our programs allow students to respond to the challenges of the modern business environment and assist them in planning and developing their own careers.

 

Academic and Social Activities

The learning process focuses on developing students’ analytical thinking and developing optimal decision-making skills. The interactive teaching process is accompanied by semester projects, analysis and discussions. The faculty is distinguished by its projects, roundtable discussions with experts, variety of public lectures and trainings, seminars and contests, researches offered to different companies. Students and academic staff are involved in the preparation of scientific journals at the faculty. The faculty provides students and academic staff with the opportunity to gain international experience and professional development through exchange programs.

Career and Employment

The faculty is interested in employment during the student years as well, for this purpose students are obliged to complete internship in different companies during the last semester of their study, which ensures their further employment. A survey conducted last year shows that 93% of faculty graduates are employed and 74% are employed according to their qualifications. A memorandum of understanding has been signed with more than 100 companies, including leading companies in the field in order to provide student internships.

Exchange Programs

Faculty students and academic staff are given the opportunity to gain international experience and professional development through exchange programs. Each student is given the opportunity to study at leading universities in Europe, Asia and America at least for one semester or a full year, get to know the new environment and gain valuable experience.
