MA in International Relations is an English language program offering a vibrant atmosphere for learning to a limited number of students. Because of the small classes and qualified professors both from Georgia and beyond, the program provides a unique opportunity for academic growth for its students through fully immersing them in academic discourse, dynamic discussions, constructive debates, etc. The program has a strong research component as well as a particular focus on Georgia, its foreign policy and immediate neighborhood. Finally, apart from the core courses that teach students the essence of International Relations , students can enjoy a wide range of elective courses in order to specialize in their particular field of interest.
MA students of International Relations will be able to work in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, state structures responsible for foreign policy and national security issues, namely, foreign relations departments of various Ministries, international organizations, NGOs working on international relations and national security issues, research centers, etc. Besides, MA graduate can continue studies in Ph.D. program to increase his/her competence and qualification.

For entrants who are enrolled via Unified National Exams: 4500 GEL
For entrants who are not enrolled via Unified National Exams: 9900 GEL
Grant System for MA Programmes:
Master’s candidates who sign the contract before August 31 and pay 950 GEL will get a 20% grant.
Note: If the master’s candidate does not enroll in IBSU, the mentioned amount will not be refunded; In case of enrollment, 950 GEL will be included in the tuition fee; If the master’s candidate fails the IBSU internal test, the corresponding money will be refunded.
If the master’s candidate achieves more than 80% of the maximum score in the unified master’s examinations or has a BA GPA of 3.3, he or she will get an annual grant of 1250 GEL (2500 GEL total).
Note: In this instance, a test will be given to acquire financing; the candidate must earn at least 80% of the maximum score.
A 10% grant for graduates
*Only one grant (higher) is valid. (Not for IBSU grads).
*In addition to the 10% grant, IBSU graduates are eligible for criteria 1 and 2 of the grant scheme.
