International Black Sea University received another full-fledged authorization
The International Black Sea University (IBSU) has received another full-fledged authorization. IBSU’s Rector Kakha Shengelia thanked the university’s employees for their work and vowed that IBSU will continue to move forward and develop for the country’s European future.
IBSU is Georgia’s first private university, having 29 years of expertise in the education field.
IBSU offers up to 50 accredited English and Georgian-taught bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral educational programs, including programs in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Architecture, International Relations, Law, Public Administration and State Governance, Journalism, English Philology, and American Studies.
This year, the university admitted its first batch of students to the newly accredited English-taught Medical program and Psychology BA program.
The International Black Sea University plans to add new educational programs in 2025, including Graphic Design (English-taught) and Architecture (Georgian-taught) BA programs.
The Public Relations (Georgian-taught) bachelor’s program has already received full accreditation and will admit its first student batch in September 2025.
IBSU is focused on in-demand professions, which ensures a high 93% employment rate. The university is distinguished by diverse exchange programs, internal grants, student clubs, an international environment, and a rich library.
