Hi, I’m Juan David Ramirez Andrade from Colombia, currently studying International Relations. I chose IBSU because I really liked the curriculum, and I found out about the university while searching for English-taught degrees in Georgia. I didn’t have any specific expectations about Georgia, I just decided to let the country surprise me! I found it while looking for interesting places to transfer my studies, and I’m glad I did.

The cold weather was definitely one of the biggest surprises for me! But during my time studying and living abroad, I’ve really improved my skills in exploring the city and communicating with people, even when there’s a language barrier. It’s been an eye-opening experience, and my time in Georgia has broadened my worldview. It’s been great to understand things from their perspective and experience life here.
