Hi, I’m Adilet Abay, and I’m from Kazakhstan. Right now, I’m studying Marketing at IBSU, in my third year. When I finished school, I knew I wanted to study abroad. A few days later, a friend told me about IBSU.
The first few days in Georgia were a bit challenging because everything was so different—the country, the people, and the language. But now, everything’s much better. My English has improved, I’ve learned a bit of Georgian, and I’m getting familiar with the city. I’ve also learned how to solve problems on my own, which has made me more independent and responsible.
What I really enjoy is the friendly atmosphere here, and our lectures are great too. The International Relations Department has been amazing in helping me connect with students from all over the world. We’ve had meet-ups, attended events, and shared a lot of experiences.
There’s one place I absolutely love, though—it’s our cafeteria! It’s always a great spot to relax and hang out.
