  5. Vali Hasanov is International student...

Vali Hasanov is International student at International Black Sea University.

Hi! My name is Vali Hasanov, and I’m from Azerbaijan. I’m currently in my third year at the Faculty of Architecture at IBSU. The reason I chose this university is because a friend of mine, who’s also studying architecture here, highly recommended it to me. After hearing about his great experience, I was really motivated to learn more about IBSU, and that’s when I decided to apply. I didn’t have any concerns about studying here, especially since I’ve been living in Georgia for a while and am already familiar with the country’s culture and traditions. Before coming to IBSU, I studied at Delta University in Estonia, and I had a smooth experience there, so I didn’t expect anything less here. I’ve found the people in Georgia to be incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful, which has made adjusting here really easy.

Studying abroad has taught me so much. I’ve become more adaptable and independent, learning to navigate new environments and tackle challenges on my own. My communication skills have also improved, especially when interacting with people from different cultural backgrounds. It’s been a truly enriching experience that has boosted my problem-solving skills and broadened my worldview. Living and studying in a new country has opened my eyes to different cultures, traditions, and ways of thinking, which has made me much more open-minded and empathetic. I’ve learned to value diverse perspectives, which has not only deepened my understanding of global issues but also made me better at adapting to new situations. It’s really made me aware of how connected the world is.

What I love most about IBSU is the supportive and welcoming environment. The faculty and staff are always ready to help, and there’s a strong sense of community here among the students. I also love the diversity of the student body, as it gives me the opportunity to learn from so many different perspectives. Plus, the campus has great facilities and resources that support both my academic and personal growth .My classmates are amazing—so friendly and hospitable. From day one, they’ve made me feel right at home. Whether it’s helping me with assignments or just having a casual chat, they’ve been super supportive and approachable. It’s honestly great to be part of such a positive and inclusive group
