Maryam Aspanani is International student at International Black Sea University.
My name is Maryam Aspanani, and I am a first-year International Relations student at IBSU. I transferred my credits from my previous university in Iran, and although the process was quite challenging, IBSU successfully managed it for me. This was a huge relief, as it allowed me to continue my studies without starting over. So far, my experience in Georgia and IBSU has been great—the people here are welcoming, and I have received incredible support from both university staff and students, making my transition much smoother.
Before choosing IBSU, I thoroughly researched universities in Georgia and other countries. IBSU stood out due to the number of academic and extracurricular opportunities available, far exceeding those of many other universities I looked into. Even friends studying in different countries don’t have access to such programs. Additionally, IBSU’s communication through emails is highly effective, ensuring that students are well-informed about opportunities and events.
My overall experience at IBSU has been fantastic, and I am excited to continue my journey here!
