#ErasmusStudent: Nato Mamadashvili | Eötvös Loránd University
“My name is Nato Mamadashvili, a junior student of the English Philology program at the International Black Sea University (IBSU). I am currently studying at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, Hungary, as part of the Erasmus+ exchange program.
Participating in Erasmus+ has truly been a transformative experience for me. Back home at IBSU, my courses mainly focused on the theoretical foundations of the teacher training program. Here, I’ve had the opportunity to take practical courses, which is a unique chance to apply my knowledge in real settings and see how it all works in practice.
One of the most impressive parts of this experience has been doing placements in bilingual (Hungarian-English) schools and kindergartens, where I had the chance not only to observe but to step into the role of a teacher myself. It was one of the most meaningful, challenging, and rewarding experiences I’ve ever had.
Budapest is truly a city of wonders—you discover something new and special at every step. Through Erasmus+, I’ve met many interesting people and had the chance to get to know their cultures more deeply. The professors and local students have been incredibly friendly and supportive. Literature courses have become one of my favorite parts of this experience—they are so inspiring and engaging.
I’m deeply thankful to #IBSU for this opportunity. The theoretical foundation my professors provided has been extremely helpful here. I also want to thank the International Relations Department, who supported me at every step and made this experience truly unforgettable.”
