University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli in Italy gifted legal literature to IBSU

Professor Andrea Borroni, Head of Comparative Private Law at the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli in Italy, and Dr Fabio Zambardino gifted legal literature to International Black Sea University (IBSU) as part of a partnership and collaboration agreement.

The donation was made to Professor Irakli Shamatava, Dean of the School of Law and State Governance.

The books, published in both Italian and English, are intended for students, academic staff and those with an interest in banking law. The literature is now available at the IBSU library.

The partnership between the two universities will continue to develop, with Georgian and Italian professors planning to deliver public lectures in both countries.

Doctor Francesco Petrucciano, Researcher at the “Francesco Castro” Interdisciplinary Centre for the Studies of the Islamic World at Tor Vergata University of Rome,  is scheduled to visit IBSU in September 2025, where he will deliver a public lecture on “A Comparative Legal Approach To Value, Credit and Digitalisation.”
