Program “Voices Against Violence”
The International Black Sea University (IBSU) is hosting the project “Voices Against Violence”, funded by the UN Women. This initiative aims to raise awareness about gender-based violence against girls and women and to help young people develop essential skills to respond to and prevent such issues.
The course includes a 2-hour training seminar, which focuses on:
-Creating a safe and supportive environment for children and youth to openly discuss violence against girls and women;
-Identifying various forms of violence and recognizing its warning signs;
-Developing skills that enable participants to support themselves and their peers;
-Raising awareness among girls and women about human rights.

The Georgian Girl Scouts Association “Dia” is one of the oldest and most experienced youth organizations in Georgia, working with children and young people. The organization is a member of WAGGGS (the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts). The training is based on WAGGGS’s international program “Stop the Violence”, which aims to reduce violence against girls and women worldwide.
