IBSU Representatives Conducted a Training for Students Interested in Journalism
At Rustavi Public School No. 17, representatives of the International Black Sea University conducted a training session for students interested in journalism.
Through interactive tasks, educational games, and engaging activities, the trainers introduced participants to the specifics of the journalism profession — its advantages and challenges. They explained the principles of news writing, the basics of journalistic ethics, and methods for distinguishing between fake and real news.
The training was conducted by Tamar Shoshiashvili, Head of the Marketing and Public Relations Department and invited lecturer of the Journalism Program; Luka Ambalia, staff member of the same department, IBSU Journalism Program graduate, and invited lecturer; and Tiko Makharashvili, student of the Journalism Program.
Participants received certificates and memorable gifts.
To support career orientation, the International Black Sea University continues to implement various activities, including trainings and workshops involving practicing lecturers and students. These trainings are planned both on the university campus and in public schools.
