Meet Giorgi Merabishvili, a student of the International Relations program at IBSU, who is spending one semester studying at the University of Łódź, Poland, through the Erasmus+ exchange program.

“For me, the exchange program at the University of Łódź turned out to be the best opportunity to deepen my knowledge in the field of geopolitics, explore a foreign country’s culture and educational methods, and improve my communication skills 0 all of which are essential for my future career.
The study process at the University of Łódź is truly unique and productive. We often have discussions and intellectual games directly related to real events in international politics, which makes learning much more engaging.
Studying abroad naturally comes with certain challenges, but the experience and knowledge I am gaining are helping me grow personally and become more independent.
Here, I have met people from completely different cultures, made new friends, and connected with students from many parts of Europe and the world. I have visited various cities and discovered their stunning architectural works that reflect the culture and history of their countries.
