IBSU Journalism Students Participate in a Georgian Red Cross Project

Students of the Bachelor of Journalism program participated in the pilot project of the Georgian Red Cross Society – “Your Voice in Crisis: Strengthening Humanitarian Communication in Georgia”.

At the first stage of the project, at a special training held in Chakvi, students of the Media School received practical knowledge in crisis communication management – planning and implementing effective communication during natural disasters, conflict zones, fires and other crisis situations.

During the training, students were introduced to the specifics of communication strategies with different target audiences and the process of developing a crisis management plan.
