IBSU 13th Winter Olympiad in Informatics
On February 22, 2026, the XIII Georgian Students’ Winter Olympiad in Informatics will be held. The Olympiad is organized by Black Sea International University and the Association for Supporting Information Technology Education and Informatics Olympiads.
The Olympiad will be conducted in the format of international informatics olympiads. Participation is open to students of public and private schools in Georgia, as well as young people under the age of 20 who are not enrolled in any higher education institution.
Participants are required to have knowledge of the C++ programming language and algorithms.
This year, as before the pandemic, the Olympiad will again be held in an in-person format across three age groups:
- up to Grade VIII
- Grades IX–X
- Grades XI–XII
In each group, participants will be given three problems to solve and a total of five hours of working time.
Winners in all three age groups will be awarded official diplomas certifying their achievement.
Olympiad Schedule:
09:00–09:30 – Participant registration
09:30–10:00 – Opening of the Olympiad
10:00–10:30 – Allocation of participants to workstations
10:30–11:00 – Practice round
11:00–16:00 – Main round of the Olympiad
