Meet #IBSU’s English-taught International Relations student, Saba Gulbatashvili, who is continuing his studies for one semester at ISAG – European Business School in Portugal through the Erasmus+ exchange program.

“Participation in the exchange program was initially a spontaneous decision. Although it had been my childhood dream to study abroad, to gain a deeper understanding of European culture, and to build international friendships, I hesitated for some time before making a final decision, however spending the Fall 2025-2026 semester in Portugal proved to be one of the best decisions of my student life.

One of my primary motivations for enrolling at IBSU was the university’s strong emphasis on offering diverse exchange programs to its students. I am particularly grateful for this opportunity, as a single semester spent abroad was sufficient to significantly enrich both my academic and personal experience. During the program, I completed several engaging courses, created numerous unforgettable memories, and met many inspiring and interesting individuals.

My experience showed me that we should never say no to new opportunities, but instead accept and experience them.”
