Dear Students,
Congratulations on the start of the new academic year! We would like to inform you that from this semester onward, the educational process will be conducted through a new electronic system – emis.ibsu.edu.ge.
We understand that over the past few years, several electronic systems have been replaced, which may have caused some inconvenience. However, the new system, provided by the new administration, significantly simplifies processes for students and improves administration and quality management.
Some IBSU students have already familiarized themselves with the new system. You can view the advantages of the system from their perspective via the provided link.
Additionally, the schedule prepared over the summer, which the new administration inherited, included seminar groups of 60 students each. To improve the quality of education, the maximum number of students per seminar group has been reduced from 60 to 30. As a result, new groups have been added, and the schedule has been updated, necessitating a new academic registration. Therefore, students who have already registered in the old system are kindly asked to review the new schedule and register again. Tuition fees already paid will be fully reflected in the financial module of the new system.
Students who have not yet completed registration will be able to see the amount they need to pay on the platform after logging in, before selecting courses and schedules in the new system. Payments can be made via mobile banking or quick payment terminals, where you should enter your personal ID number instead of your student number.
In the coming days, you will receive the following information:
- Data required for system authorization (username and password)
- Details about courses, lecturers, lectures, and seminars assigned for this semester, which will help you plan your schedule and prepare for academic registration in advance
- Information about an online meeting where you will have the opportunity to ask any questions regarding the management of academic processes in the new electronic system (Zoom link will be sent via SMS and email)
- Video and photo instructions to simplify navigation within the system
Academic registration will begin on September 24 at 15:00 and continue until September 27. Changes to courses and schedules can be made until October 12.
We wish you a successful academic year!
