The aim of the bachelor program in informatics is to provide students with a strong background in the theoretical and practical aspects of computer science and its applications. The program is designed to teach students various areas of computer science, including programming languages, computer architecture, software engineering, database, network security, data analysis, hardware, software, and more. Graduates of the program will be able to design and implement systems, both hardware and software, which are state of the art solutions to a variety of computing problems. Furthermore, the curriculum devotes industrial internship to help students to practice principles and techniques learned in the classroom for a successful career in computer science.

– Enrolment via mobility is available twice a year. Internal mobility is conducted within a time period set by National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement (detailed information is available at eqe.ge). The bachelor program in informatics prepare students for careers in computer science and related areas. Graduates of the program will have good employment opportunities both private and governmental organizations. They will be equipped for jobs which involve state-of-the-art technology and design and construction of large software systems. Graduates can work as a computer systems analyst, software developer, software engineer, IT specialist, web designer, database administrator, and more.
98 percent of students who graduate from the program go onto careers after graduation and about 15 percent of students pursue a graduate study.
