Dimitri Zarkua

A sophomore student of the Faculty of Computer Technologies and Engineering. Junior software programmer and database developer with two years of experience in building new databases and in Computer Science. Has successfully participated in Web Development Week organized by GeoLab, Programming Week organized by Technopark, and Computer Science and Engineering Week organized by the faculty.

Course aim

The course discusses the essence of computer science, computer hardware and software, as well as algorithms structure, functions and procedures. This is an introductory course designed to provide students with basic knowledge about computers, to equip them at all types of information, which is processed by a computer.

  • Understanding the meaning of Science and Computer Science;
  • Knowledge of structure of Algorithms, Functions and Procedures;
  • Comprehension of Software and its relation to Hardware;
  • Knowledge of principles of Artificial Intelligence;
  • Understanding of Computer Ethics.
