School of Computer Science and Architecture

The Dean of IBSU School of Computer Science and Architecture, Mariam Razmadze, and the Head of the International Relations Department, Nini Chalabashvili, attended the International Week of Zwickau University of Applied Sciences (WHZ) in Germany. They participated in the welcome ceremony for the second batch of students enrolled in the double degree master’s program “Management and Information Technologies.”

During the ceremony, the IBSU delegation delivered a welcome speech and presented information about the university’s educational processes, current programs, and ongoing and future projects. The Dean and #IRO Head also met with newly enrolled students from all five partner countries completing their first semester at #WHZ before continuing their studies at #IBSU in the following semesters.

Since 2020, IBSU has led the international IDEA project in Georgia, forming the double degree master’s program in collaboration with WHZ and three other partner universities. The program receives full support and funding from DAAD. This year, IBSU welcomes its second batch of students, bringing the total enrollment to 102 students across all five partner countries.

The five-day visit, which attracted over 200 participants, included meetings with rectors and professors from various partner universities, as well as representatives from newly participating institutions from the Czech Republic and Great Britain. Discussions focused on future collaboration in artificial intelligence, sustainable development, and green economy initiatives.
