IBSU is engaged in the international project E-CANDEE (Europe-Central Asia & Caucasus Network for Digital Education Enlargement), funded by DAAD. The project aims to strengthen scientific collaboration within the double-degree Master’s program “Management and Information Technologies.”
Representatives of the International Black Sea University – Professor Giorgi Ghvatadze, Rector’s Advisor for Internationalization, and Professor Mariam Razmadze, Dean of the School of Computer Science and Architecture and Head of the ECANDEE Project – paid an official visit to Zwickau University of Applied Sciences (WHZ).
During the visit, a roundtable discussion was held with WHZ Rector, Professor Stephan Kassel, along with representatives from partner countries: Czech Republic, Ukraine, Albania, and Azerbaijan. Meetings were also conducted with partners of the new E-CANDEE project.
IBSU representatives attended the official ceremony for the enrollment of the third cohort of Georgian students, who are studying at WHZ through the exchange program and are currently in Zwickau as part of the double-degree Master’s program.
IBSU and WHZ have been successfully collaborating since 2019, and starting from 2025, IBSU is officially joining the new DAAD-supported academic and research initiative.
IBSU continues to strengthen its international partnerships and create global opportunities for its students.
