#ErasmusStudent: Diana Kotrikadze | Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences
“I am Diana Kotrikadze, a Management program student at the International Black Sea University (IBSU). I am currently studying at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS) in the Netherlands as part of the Erasmus+ exchange program.
This Erasmus+ journey has been a truly enriching and transformative chapter in my academic life. At IBSU, I built a solid foundation in business theory and management principles. Here at AUAS, I’ve had the opportunity to apply that knowledge in real-world, practical settings—through case studies, group projects, and hands-on assignments that challenge me to think critically and creatively.
One of the most rewarding aspects of this experience has been working in multicultural teams. Collaborating with students from different backgrounds has taught me how to adapt, communicate effectively, and appreciate diverse perspectives—skills that are essential for anyone entering today’s global business world.
Amsterdam itself has been an incredible place to live and learn. The city is full of energy and inspiration, with something new to explore every day—from innovative startups and sustainable businesses to cultural landmarks and beautiful neighborhoods. The professors at AUAS are supportive and open-minded, and their teaching style has helped me become more confident and independent.
I am truly thankful to IBSU for preparing me so well and to the International Relations Department for their support throughout this journey. Erasmus+ has been more than just a study program—it’s been a life-changing experience that has helped me grow both personally and professionally.”
