Literary-Cognitive Almanac “Friends of Nature” Presentation

On the occasion of Earth Day, the International Black Sea University hosted a presentation of the literary and cognitive almanac “Friends of Nature”.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, Jemal Gamakharia, member of the Rustavi City Council, Amiran Janjgava, as well as famous writers, critics, journalists, translators and representatives of various fields of art.

The presentation was opened by the Dean of the School of Law and Public Administration, Irakli Shamatava, whose literary text “My Abkhazian Christmas Tree – the Way Home!” is published in the first issue of the almanac.

The international journal “Friends of Nature” includes various types of literary and cognitive texts by modern writers on the topic of nature and ecology and is the first literary almanac dedicated to the protection of the Earth.

The editor of the almanac is the poet Madonna Dvali. The sponsor is the government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia.
