#ExchangeStudent: Lile Liparteliani | ELTE University
Meet #IBSU’s fourth-year English Philology student, Lile Liparteliani, who is continuing her studies for one semester at Eötvös Loránd University in Hungary through the Erasmus+ exchange program, at the Faculty of Primary and Preschool Education.
“Taking part in this exchange program has been one of the most enriching and transformative experiences of my academic life. Living and studying in a new country has given me the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone, experience a different educational system, and explore new cultural perspectives.
The hands-on and practical approach to education at ELTE has been especially insightful, enabling me to apply what I’ve learned in real-world contexts and understand the value of experiential learning. Through this experience, I’ve come to view my profession in a broader, more global perspective and found new ways to bridge theory with practice.
Budapest itself has been an endless source of inspiration. Every corner of the city tells a story – its architecture, history, and atmosphere create the perfect backdrop for learning and personal growth. I’ve had the privilege of meeting students from various countries, exchanging ideas, and building friendships that I know will last long after the program ends.
I am sincerely grateful to IBSU, the International Relations Department (IRD), and my faculty for their continuous support and encouragement throughout this journey. Their guidance made this opportunity possible, and I’m proud to represent IBSU and Georgia abroad as part of such a meaningful experience”
