Meet #IBSU’s English-taught International Relations student, Natia Glurjidze, who is continuing her studies for one semester at Üsküdar University in Türkiye through a Bilateral exchange program.

“Hello, I am Natia Glurjidze, a third-year student of the English-taught International Relations program at IBSU, and I am currently in Istanbul studying at Üsküdar University through an exchange program. Participating in this exchange program has become one of the most transformative experiences of my academic journey. Living and studying in such a remarkable and historically rich city has allowed me to see the essence of international relations beyond the classroom and connect theory with the real world.

All of this became possible thanks to the exceptional support of Black Sea International University (IBSU), especially the Department of International Relations and my faculty. Their guidance, encouragement, and professional preparation helped me quickly adapt to the new academic environment and make the most of every experience – both academically and culturally.

This new opportunity – from engaging lectures to interacting with students from diverse cultural backgrounds – has helped me better discover myself in my future profession. The exchange program has broadened my global perspective and further strengthened my motivation to pursue a diplomatic career.
