IBSU hosted 19th International Silk Road Conference
International Black Sea University held the traditional 19th International Silk Road Conference to analyze economic-political and social concerns in the region and beyond, exchange expert perspectives, and seek optimal solutions to critical issues. The theme of the conference reflected current global and regional challenges.
This year’s conference featured a varied range of topics, with scientists and PhD students from 21 universities across six nations in attendance. These nations are Georgia, India, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland. During the conference, Georgian and English sessions covered topics such as the economy, business, management, marketing, finance, computer sciences, politics, security, law, social sciences, culture, history, literature, and education. Participants listened to scientific reports, shared their experiences, and held interesting panel discussions.
The conference’s partner universities were Caucasus University, the National University of Georgia (SEU), Krakow University of Economics (Poland), the University of Žilina (Slovakia) and the College of Applied Psychology in the Czech Republic. The conference featured keynote speakers Tomasz Jedynak, PhD, DSc, Associate Professor from Krakow University of Economics, and Milan Fila, Associate Professor, PhD, from the University of Applied Psychology in Prague.
