IBSU awarded winners of university’s internal mini-football tournament

IBSU’s Vice-Rector for Administration, Giorgi Makharashvili, awarded the winners of the university’s internal mini-football tournament.

A total of 15 student teams participated in the tournament, with the team “Brge” emerging as the winner under the captaincy of Davit Kupharashvili.

Team members: Davit Kupharashvili, Davit Gergedava, Davit Musashvili, Misho Mikeladze, Guka Mamadashvili, Davit Vakhania, Misho Tsiklauri, Faiz Mohamedi, Zuka Karanashvili, Avtandil Beridze, Giorgi Buleishvili.

Second place was claimed by the team “Masipali.” Team members: Giorgi Rusia, Saba Rogava, Beso Babuadze, Dachi Javakhishvili, Luka Jgerenaia, Luka Anjaparidze, Giorgi Kazazishvili, Irakli Gvarliani, Vakhtang Mania.

Third place went to the team “Mamikoebi.” Team members: Giorgi Arbolishvili, Roma Kantaria, Saba Shubladze, Ucha Berashvili, Nikoloz Tedoradze, Giorgi Tabidze, Mate Vashadze, Giorgi Bitsadze, Mate Gumberidze, Nikoloz Rukhadze, Dachi Barateli.

The tournament also recognized the best players:

• Best Goalkeeper – Davit Gergedava
• Best Defender – Beso Babuadze
• Best Assistant – Nikoloz Gofodze
• Top Scorer – Misho Mikeladze
• Most Valuable Player – Misho Mikeladze

The tournament was organized by the IBSU Football Club with financial support from the Department of Student and Alumni Development.
