Five students of Bachelor of Journalism program won certificates and cash prizes

Five students of the Bachelor of Journalism program at the International Black Sea University won certificates and cash prizes in a closed competition to raise public awareness about vaccination. The competition was part of a larger project funded by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), the Austrian Red Cross (AuRC), the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and implemented by the local Red Cross organizations in Georgia and Armenia under the title “Epidemic Preparedness and Response to COVID19 in Armenia and Georgia”. In the first stage, the project organizers and public health experts conducted training for students of the Bachelor of Journalism program at IBSU. In the second stage, the students participating in the training prepared journalistic materials on the importance of vaccination. A jury of professionals evaluated the competition materials.
