IBSU representatives visited Zwickau University of Applied Sciences
Dean of the IBSU School of Computer Science and Architecture, and Head of the international IDEA project, Mariam Razmadze, along with Head of the International Relations Department, Nini Chalabashvili, have conducted an official visit to Zwickau University of Applied Sciences in Germany.
During the visit, discussions focused on the concluding results of the IDEA project, preparations for diplomas for the first graduating cohort of the double degree master’s programme “Management and Information Technologies”, and plans with partner countries.
The School Dean and IRO Head met with the second intake of students enrolled in the programme from all five partner countries, briefing them on new developments at IBSU and the advantages of studying there.
Notably, since November 2024, IBSU has joined a second international project, E-CANDEE, with support from DAAD. This project will run for the next three years and represents an expansion of the IDEA project.
The visit included the first expanded meeting of project leaders from all countries participating in the new E-CANDEE project, with planning sessions for work with new partner nations. The Czech Republic, Ukraine and Azerbaijan have now joined the existing consortium.
IBSU has maintained close collaboration with Zwickau University of Applied Sciences since 2016, and since 2020 has been implementing a joint double degree master’s programme within the framework of the IDEA project, supported by DAAD.
