The Simulation of the EU Enlargement Policy Was Successfully Held at IBSU

On December 27, within the framework of the EU Policy course of the International Relations program at the International Black Sea University, a simulation of the European Union enlargement policy and accession process was successfully conducted using practical elements.

The simulation involved fourth-year International Relations students, who applied their theoretical knowledge in a hands-on, practical setting. The process was marked by a high level of engagement, dynamic interaction, and effective teamwork, making the learning experience both educational and enjoyable for students.

The project was designed and implemented by Lecturer Ilona Chukhua. The activity aimed to deepen students’ understanding of EU enlargement mechanisms, develop critical thinking skills, and strengthen practical decision-making abilities.

According to the lecturer’s assessment, the initiative once again demonstrated that learning through practice is one of the most effective and motivating approaches for students.
