IBSU held a public speech championship for school students
The International Black Sea University held a public speech championship for schoolchildren, led by the Dean of the School of Law and Public Administration, Doctor of Law, Affiliated Professor Irakli Shamatava.
Within the framework of the free IBSU project, students studied the techniques of preparing public speeches and presentations and the correct use of body language.
The following topics were discussed at the public speech championship: prominent representatives of rhetoric and oratory, verbal and non-verbal communication, planning an effective public speech, the art of storytelling, managing fears, improving presentation skills, body language and dress etiquette.
Within the framework of the project, successful students of the university shared advice with students related to self-confidence, developing storytelling skills and overcoming the fear of public speaking.
At the end of the project, the participants were awarded certificates, and the winners of the final round were Daniel Devdariani and Keti Tsutskiridze.
