A training session on EBSCO academic databases was held at IBSU

As you may know, since April 2024, the International Black Sea University (IBSU) Library has provided access to the globally recognized academic electronic database EBSCO EP Package PREMIER, which represents one of the largest collections of multidisciplinary academic resources. The package includes 11 electronic databases, thousands of electronic journals, books, scholarly articles, and research materials, all of which play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of your academic research.

We would like to inform you that this year the package has been expanded with two major additions to the Business Source database, available exclusively for the Premier Package:
1) New premium content available through Business Source Premier starting from 2025

The subscription now gives users access to unique and highly valuable content from the following institutions:
American Accounting Association
Academy of Management Journals
Harvard Business Review
MIS Quarterly
INFORMS (Institute for Operations Research & the Management Sciences)

Key journals include:
• Harvard Business Review
• Academy of Management Journal
• The Accounting Review
• Journal of Marketing Research
• Bloomberg Businessweek
• Fortune
• Journal of Management
• MIS Quarterly
• Forbes

2) A dedicated business-specific search interface with full functionality

This interface, designed specifically for the Business Source series, provides users with a simple and convenient way to search for company profiles, industry information, country economic data, and market research reports.

Access to the EBSCO EP Package PREMIER is available to the university’s academic and invited staff, as well as bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students. The database can be accessed both on-campus and off-campus.

Information about these updates and a training session on how to use the platform was presented to IBSU’s academic staff by Nana Khuskivadze, Director of Innovative Systems Management Ltd. The training was held online on December 5.
